The New Mustang +Plus base clips have been specifically manufactured to work with external porcelain and patio tiles between 20mm to 30mm in depth. They are ideal for laying medium to large format external tiles or slabs to ensure a perfectly flat level finish is achieved. The Mustang +Plus base clips are available in two spacer size options of 1mm, 2mm and 3mm widths which allows for even joint grouting where tiles of different variances are to be installed. These spacer options accommodate the placement of tiles and help to maintain straight grout lines as well as eliminate the requirement for using additional spacers. The Mustang +Plus tile levelling system is tried and tested and can produce a lip free finish every time.

Mustang Wedges

Mustang wedges are longer and designed to accommodate medium to larger format tiles. Made from solid durable red PVC, they can be re-used over and over again and are perfectly designed to work with both Mustang and Mustang +Plus base clips. The uniquely formed ridges that run along the top side of the wedge are designed to allow for height adjustment when using the handy Mustang levelling tool. Once the correct amount of pressure has been applied to the wedge, the base clip will be firmly locked in place and ensures that the adjacent tiles will have no visible edges or lippage.

The Mustang application tool is a handy time saving accessory that allows the user to quickly apply the correct amount of pressure when combining a Mustang wedge to it’s relevant base clip. Applying pressure with the tool is a quick and easy process but also provides a good indication as to where the resistance point is before any clip breakages occur. Using the Mustang tool makes lip free tiling effortless, stress free and is a fantastic addition to the Mustang  range.
